Spotlight on Blake Lively: Child actress turned TV star turned entrepreneur.



When you think of Blake Lively you immediately think of Gossip Girl. Blake Lively was cast as Serena van der Woodsen in 2007 and the CW show lasted a whopping 5 years. During her time in this role Blake also starred in popular movies, The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants 2, New York, I Love You, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and Green Lantern to name a few. A style icon and self confessed homemaker; Blake was born in Tarzana, Los Angeles on 25th August 1987. She actually starred in her first role at the age of 11 in the first of the Sisterhood of Traveling Pants movies. Lively's performance in the film earned her a nomination for a Teen Choice Award for the female breakout category.

Blake met her now husband, Ryan Reynolds in 2010 and they married in 2012. They are now expecting their first child together and if her style track record is anything to go by we are in store for some amazing maternity ensembles. Lively became the face of L’Oreal in 2013 and continues to be a spokesperson for the brand. Last year she also launched an exciting online lifestyle magazine called Preserve in which she shares her recipes alongside the eCommerce shop. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this talented businesswoman.
